    Description

    BIO 2034 Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology II (4 Credit Hours) This course is the second semester of a two-part series entitled Anatomy and Physiology. It is required for students entering the School of Nursing or the Athletic Training program. The following systems are covered: endocrine, cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory, lymphatic, urinary, and reproductive systems. There will be an emphasis on the relationship between the structure and the function. Metabolism, nutrition, and practical procedures performed in many of the health fields. The laboratory sessions include specimen dissections, microscopic examinations, and the use of anatomical models. This course is not accepted as a biology major elective. Prerequisite: BIO 2024, BIO 2020 Availability: Fall/Spring
