EDU 5183 Teaching Elementary Social Studies (3 Credit Hours) Emphasizes a review of the elementary school social studies curriculum and instruction. Discusses trends and teaching strategies. Special attention to geography and conservation. 16 instructional contact hours of Field Experience in a local elementary school required. (this is not an observation experience). Prerequisite: Passed First Screening or ELP student Availability: Fall
