Description

This course uses the nursing process with an emphasis on assessment to determine the health status of diverse individuals across the lifespan. Communication skills, interview techniques, health history, and physical exam skills are introduced. Opportunities to apply health assessment skills, documentation, and critical thinking for nursing care planning are provided.
Prerequisite: Provisional Acceptance to Admission to Upper-Division Nursing Program
