This course is part two of a two course comprehensive study of human pathophysiology and pharmacology appropriate to the professional nurse.  This course supports NUR 3403 Medical Surgical Nursing II Theory by applying pathophysiologic and pharmacologic processes (cumulative with NUR 3013) to the care and promotion of wellness across the lifespan.  Major drug classes and prototypical drugs are presented with specific application to nursing care within the nursing process.
 
Prerequisite: NUR 3013; NUR 3343; NUR 3352; NUR 3223 
Corequisite: NUR 3403; NUR 3412
