NUR 3332 Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing: Clinical
2 Credit Hours
Focuses on the implementation of therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, and at risk groups who have actual and potential mental health stressors. Mental health theories, General System Theory, and the nursing process are used to develop nursing actions to retain, attain, and maintain health and wellness. Critical thinking, therapeutic use of self, and communication skills are emphasized. Clinical sites include community and acute care settings.
