Description

This course provides leadership and management theories as professional and associated behaviors are explored within the evolving 21st century health care system. The professional leader/manager will integrate core Christian world view values while exemplifying principles of altruism, integrity, excellence, caring, ethics, respect, communication, and accountability within a collaborative decision making process. This will require an understanding of financial and regulatory policies, quality improvement, and safety interconnected with the national and global implications of health care equity and social justice of a diverse population and their complex needs.

Prerequisite: NUR 4104, NUR 4112, NUR 4153; NUR 4162 or RN to BSN admission
