Description

NUR 4303 Community Nursing: Theory 3 Credit Hours Theories and concepts of community based nursing with emphasis on health promotion and prevention of family and population based health problems are introduced. Students examine actual and potential stressors experienced by client/client systems in community settings across the lifespan. Students study actual and potential stressors experienced by client/client systems in the global health arena in addition to their local community. The nursing process is used to introduce nursing actions to retain, attain, and maintain optimal client/client system stability at both the global and local levels. Prerequisites: NUR 4104, 4113, 4123, 4133 Corequisite: NUR 4312 Availability: Spring
