This online course is offered to help graduate nursing students develop a foundation for successful study as master’s and doctoral students. The course provides a forum for graduate nursing students to continue development of their advanced practice nursing professional role with peers and faculty in an intentional community environment. By establishing a community identity for the hybrid Graduate Nursing Programs, it provides opportunity for spiritual support, networking, and communication about clinical and practicum site opportunities for the required experiential learning requirements. This course includes mandatory new student orientation modules, Individual and Group Advising meetings with faculty advisor each semester, essential communication and updates regarding Graduate Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Prerequisite: Enrollment in MSN or DNP program
