Description

ORL 5113 Global Leadership 3 Credit Hours As economic borders come down, cultural differences arise, and global challenges and opportunities increase, global-thinking leadership is a key factor influencing long-term success in global markets. The course will provide the tools and knowledge to formulate and implement a framework of leading in the global arena. This includes, developing technological savvy, building partnerships, thriving in the midst of operational pressures, and leading change. The course will examine leadership skills necessary to set priorities around key global objectives and focus on how to determine what needs to be changed in the current management structure. Students will analyze the options for creating a shared vision, anticipate opportunities, and challenge the leadership tradition.
