PSY 5233 Psychopathology of Childhood and Adolescence

This course reviews the fundamentals of normal childhood development, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, psychotic disorders, and pervasive developmental disorders and how these affect school performance. Methods of assessment and treatment of children/adolescents are also discussed, as are school consultation techniques and classroom
intervention strategies.
