Looking for On-Campus Work?

Important information to know if you are considering working on campus at PBA -
  • To find out if you are work-study eligible, visit the Financial Aid page and enter your ID number.
  • As a PBA student, you already have an account with Handshake, the platform that PBA uses to connect students to employers, including on-campus jobs. Log into your Handshake account at this link: https://pba.joinhandshake.com. Use your PBA email address and the same password you use for your email (use the “firstname_lastname@pba.edu” form of your email address). Once logged in, click on “Jobs” and use the search bar and filter options to narrow your search. Apply directly for jobs in Handshake.
  • Print out your resume and visit the departments you’re most interested in; introduce yourself to them in person. This will set a good first impression!
  • The new campus budget year begins July 1st, so most jobs will not be listed until that date.
  • If you will be working on campus, you MUST bring appropriate ORIGINAL forms of ID to be qualified to work. Please click the image below to view the appropriate documents. You may also want to discuss with your parents the number of allowances you will be claiming on your W-4 tax document.
