Proposal to change handbook language about visiting faculty position: Visiting Professor (1) Academic qualifications: the earned doctorate in the field of specialization or substantial distinguished scholarly accomplishments related to the academic field (2) Experience: substantial teaching experience or professional achievement related to the academic specialty (3) Term: yearly, but may be renewed with the recommendation of the chair and dean, and the approval of the provost.
