As an educational institution, Palm Beach Atlantic University officials know that sexual violence and harassment is a significant and ongoing public health concern to college students.

Palm Beach Atlantic University is committed to providing a safe environment for all students as well as its faculty, staff and volunteers. The University has initiated a number of programs to educate the campus community about sexual harassment and violence. Among these activities is a campus climate survey that explores student perceptions and experiences related to sexual violence. While this subject can be difficult to talk about, PBA is grateful to the students who shared their perceptions through this survey last spring.
The summary report is now published on my.pba.edu under the Home Section. The report highlights the major findings for PBA from the Campus Climate Comparison Study conducted nationwide with other members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
The summary includes the survey methodology and participant demographics. Please note that while most of the tables show percentages of students who agree or strongly agree with the specified items, reverse scoring is reported in some of the tables. Reverse scoring shows the percentages of students who disagreed or strongly disagreed with the items listed. These tables clearly indicate where reverse scoring is reported.
If you have questions about the survey results or any questions about how PBA is addressing the topic of sexual violence, we invite you to reach out to one of the University’s Title IX coordinators:
