Examines historical and philosophical foundations of education, as well as pertinent topics such as instructional tools, the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPS), Florida State Standards and the role of the teacher. In addition, entrance requirements for admission to the School of Education will be addressed, as well as differences in general education requirements for various education majors. An experiential component is required.
