NUR 5153 - Advanced Practice Roles and Systems Leadership
3 Credit Hours

This course examines organizational systems, leadership theory frameworks, and interprofessional collaboration through the lens of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) role. Students apply systems thinking and evidence-informed decision-making to promote patient safety, quality improvement, public protection, and improved health outcomes in complex healthcare environments. Emphasis is placed on advancing APRN professionalism, strengthening interprofessional engagement, and leading sustainable system transformation across diverse practice settings.
