Carolanne Brown (32050), Assistant Provost, supervises the department of Accreditation, Assessment, and Research and functions as the SACSCOC liaison for Palm Beach Atlantic University. Other duties include:
- Supervising the collection of annual university assessment data for program learning outcomes from the academic area, and operational objectives from the non-academic units
- Coordinating the SACSCOC Coordinating Council and the Accreditation Coordinating Council
- Managing the Quality Initiative (QI) Faculty and Student Research Grant program (Applications are due after Spring Break. Funding cycle is July 1 – June 30.)
- Working with faculty and the Marketing department to produce Enlightening Minds, PBA’s annual research review publication.
Marcus Braziel (32055), Director of Institutional Research & Effectiveness, oversees and provides leadership for institutional research and reporting functions of the University. Additional duties include:
- Working with other departments to collect, compile, and analyze data that will aid the University in making decisions about enrollment, budget planning, admissions policies, retention studies, and assessment of academic programs.
- Oversees the preparation and timely submission of all institutional reports requesting University data sent to external organizations.
- Supervision of the student evaluations of instruction (IDEA)
- Facilitation of the Interdisciplinary Research Conference each March
Research Analyst collects, analyzes, and disseminates data about the university. Duties include:
- Conducting research in support of strategic planning and assessment of institutional performance
- Assisting in administration of IDEA course evaluations
- Responding to internal and external requests for institutional data
- Assisting in the establishment of institutional research for the university
Erin Schaffer (32057), Coordinator for Accreditation, Assessment, and Research, is responsible for assisting the Assistant Provost with various reporting efforts required for SACSCOC accreditation activities and coordinating the General Education assessments every semester. Other duties include:
- Assisting the Dean of the School of Education and Behavioral Studies with accreditation and assessment efforts relevant to those programs with specialized accreditation within the school.
- Maintaining the LiveText assessment management system for the Education Department.
- Facilitating maintenance of the faculty transcript files for faculty credentialing activities.
Autumn Condio-Hollis (32075), Coordinator for the Dual-Enrollment Program (DEP), serves as the primary liaison between PBA departments, DEP school representatives, instructors, and students. Additional tasks include:
- Complete the student enrollment processes: Application, Dissertation Writing, Registration, Transcript Evaluation, Official Transcript Processing, and DEP Scholarship reviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate DEP Instructor and Administration Orientation and provide ongoing Training and Support.
- Collect faculty data and maintain credentialing files.
- Work with External Organizations: such a Publishers, Potential DEP Schools, Essay Writers, and T-Shirt Inventory Vendors.
