As a courtesy, loans, scholarships and grants that the Financial Aid office is expecting you to receive will be marked (*) as anticipated credits on your account. This anticipated amount is then subtracted from your charges so you are only obliged to pay the difference that is due by the payment deadline. PLEASE NOTE that if for any reason you are not eligible or do not receive these expected funds, you will be responsible to pay the total amount due. If your anticipated financial aid results in an overpayment on your account, a refund of those funds will not be processed until we have actually received all of the funds from both internal and external sources. Please plan ahead regarding your finances based on the above information
ANTICIPATED SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOANS Federal Direct Loans, PLUS, State Grants, Pell Grants, SEOG Grants and PBAU Scholarships may all appear as anticipated aid. If any of these are listed on your award letter, but not on your statement, please contact the Financial Aid department. Work Study will not appear on your bill as anticipated credit, even if it is listed on your financial aid award letter. Work study is paid to a student as it is earned.
The student is responsible for checking the statement for accuracy, including the anticipated financial aid awards, housing and registration and other charges and credits reflected on the account. Any questions should immediately be directed to the Student Accounts Office (student_accounts@pba.edu) or the Financial Aid Department (finaid@pba.edu).
