Volunteers are needed to engage guests on the exhibit floor and assist with interactive STEAM activities in a fun, high-energy science environment.
📋 Volunteer Roles Include:
Engaging guests with hands-on interactive activities
Guiding guests on flight simulators in the Flight Deck exhibit
Assisting visitors with questions and exhibit navigation
This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in science, education, aviation, engineering, or working with children and families in an interactive setting.

We’re looking for amazing volunteers to help make every visit to the Palm Beach County History Museum welcoming, smooth, and memorable!
Volunteer Roles:
Greet tour groups and walk-in guests, enter contact and ticket information into the FareHarbor booking system, ring up store purchases using Square, and assist with various projects that support current programs and events. Every friendly welcome helps visitors engage more deeply with the rich history of Palm Beach County.

Become part of a unique home and museum dedicated to the life and artwork of Reuben Hale (1927–2018). Volunteers are needed in both outdoor and archival roles. Whether you enjoy working outside or preserving history indoors, there is an opportunity for you!
🌿 Gardening / Yardwork (Ongoing)
Help maintain the beautiful sculpture garden and grounds.
Responsibilities Include:
Pulling weeds
Raking leaves
Trimming and light yardwork
General garden upkeep
You can stop by for a short visit a few days a week or schedule longer work sessions — flexibility is available.
- 🖼 Archivist / Assistant to Archivist (2 Positions Available) Assist with cataloging and curating artwork and historical documents from Reuben Hale’s collection.
Responsibilities Include:
Organizing artwork and records
Assisting with cataloging pieces
Supporting preservation and curation efforts
This is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in art, history, museums, or archival work.
Both roles offer flexible scheduling and the chance to serve in a peaceful, inspiring environment.
