As a PBA student, you are encouraged to take advantage of services provided by Palm Beach Atlantic’s Writing Central. Located on the lower level of the Lassiter Rotunda in the Warren Library and available online, Writing Central offers a wide range of services to undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty.
WC exists to help emerging and skilled writers during any point of the writing process (brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, proofreading), and peer coaches are available to assist with a variety of writing projects. Coaches aim to help writers understand assignments, generate ideas, flesh out weak/biased arguments, address patterns of error in sentence structure, revise grammar/mechanics and documentation format (including MLA, APA, and Chicago-Turabian), and share proven proofreading strategies.
